Back to Montana
Day 20: Saturday, July 16, 2005 Our day of Rest! First thing we did when we arrived in Missoula—after the shower—was to rent a car and so we were able to explore the city today. We found what would for sure be our favorite breakfast café if we lived here—the Shack Café. Wonderful food! Really good coffee and a great spinach omelet.

Then we went over the the Adventure Cycle Headquarters and had our photo taken to add to the wall of recent bicycle travelers.

Missoula is in such a lovely setting

A couple of street markets going on so I had fun doing some shopping

Lots of cars on the streets but so many bikes too

I just took some shots as we drove around

and we found this great little place for lunch
We had to find a laundry as the Sleep Inn did not have one for us to use.
They did have internet access though so they are OK
We turned in the rental car and came back to the motel to rest like we are supposed to be doing!
Yesterday at this time it was 97 degrees here and today it is in the 60's
We had a rain storm while we were at dinner and it looks like more on the way
Hopefully we will have internet again tomorrow night but after that it will probably be several days without again. We shall see.
