Day 19: Friday, July 15, 2005
Rick and Vicki camped down by the river and joined us for breakfast and saw us off as we left for Missoula and took our photo
This is the first day we have had someone to get a photo as we start the days ride
it looks downhill—but it is not

Rick and Vicki passed us on their way up to the rest area

our first time ever to enter Montana
just as we leave the rest area at the summit of Lolo Pass

We learned while in Missoula that a ski resort is in the planning for Lolo Peak area
That is Lolo Peak again

looked inviting as it was approaching 97 degrees
now our rest day begins

Rick and Vicki joined us for dinner before heading back to Lochsa Lodge for another night of camping
The food was wonderful
and the dessert speaks for itself!
