At the KOA campground in Springfield where we spent last night
Almost ready to leave for Marshfield where we will park and stay tonight.
This is the "little" campground in Marshfield
We are about ready to start the ride back to Springfield
It is a beautiful day but hot
The crops along this route look very much like they did on our drive through Kansas last week. The fields of Milo are beautiful.
as are the corn fields
lots of rolling hills
some look like they will take granny and then we can almost coast up
others look like they will be coasters and they take granny
but they are all fun and the miles go by so much faster
than they did on the flatlands of Kansas
good roads - lots of hills - light traffic
it was a wonderful ride
we were really tired because of the heat
47.5 miles and 2019 ft of climb
Though we are glad to be back on the XC ride, we are going to take 2 days off and drive up to Columbia, MO to see kids and grandkids
