Day 53 of our Ride Across America Route
Everton, MO to Pittsburg, KS
Remember, now we are using our RV and Tow Car, the Honda Element
leaving the Element where we spent the night at the KOA RV park in Springfield, MO driving with the tandem on to our next destination (Marshfield) and then riding back to the Element, loading the tandem and driving up to the RV to spend the night and then do it all over again the next day.
We could not begin in Pittsburg Kansas because the RV park was full
We actually rode 47.5 miles and the actual climb was 2019 ft
the DeLorme program seems to always show excessive climb, this time by 844 feet
