Monday, May 29th Highline State Park, Fruita ride

Last evening we enjoyed dinner and visiting with our friends John and Cuba Omohundro

at their home in Fruita, Co which is near Grand Junction

John designed their tandem - it is a beauty!

Our ride started about half way between Grand Junction and Fruita

You cannot tell - but that is the Quint climbing the hill - local residents were burning something

The group was just leaving the Highline State Park

 

It was a beautiful ride and we hope to visit this area again to do the same rides again and explore new routes with John and Cuba.
